09:14 am - All our separate ways...
OOC:
Okay, Cler-Mun, I love you! You read the other list! Yay!!!! ::this is your DM-esque person happy::

IC:

Laelith nodded to Mier, "I just need 10 allutes for her company, and you and she can talk all you'd like." There was a smile playing on her impish face. "As for a room, would you prefer a garden suite, or a mannor suite? And do you wish me to have a meal and drinks sent, and a bath drawn before you retire?"

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Each of the attending girls waited by the baths for the occupants of their rooms, wondering what they would be bid to do, glad, for a change, not to be upon the wall.

Elise, the girl sent to attend on Cleriden, hurried about his desired tasks. She gathered his requested rations from the kitchens, and then badages and some ointments, salves and potion tablets from the infermery. She also detailed a map and directions to the mannor's armory, so that he may either purchase or order what he needed. Upon disposing the used bandages and delivering the elf's garments to the laundress, she had a bit of time to chat with the pleasant older woman over the wash basin, none to proud to help out where she could. They passed the remainder of Elise's two mark allotment together, laughing and generally making the best they could of the night. There was almost one blunder with a heavy gown of the Lady's, but it was solved quickly enough. More importantly, the presence of a dress meant that the Mistress had been at the mannor recently, even if they had not seen her.

As Elise traversed the maze of hallways leading to the gardens, she thought about the Lady. Sure, she kept slaves, but she treated them well, and when all was said and done, she loved them in her own way, and they all loved her in return.

She was still thinking on the situation when she arrived at the door to Cleriden's cottage. With a gentle knock, she waited from him to admit her. "Kind sir, it's Elise, your attendant. I have what things you've requested." She held nothing as she stood there, but as had been displayed, one need not be holding something to posess it.

(( :D I do what I can, and believe me, I've got plenty of time at work to read the whole thing over and over and over... ::winks::))

The door opened a crack, with the elf's voice softly wafting through. "Enter." The light inside was a bit on the dim side, but not enough that Elise could not find her way. Cler stood with his back to her, arms folded as he stared out the window, a thin robe wrapped around his frame, black hair piled upon his head with what seemed to be two chopsticks holding it up.

After a few moments, he finally turned around towards her, green eyes practically glowing in the faint light of the candles. He gestured for her to sit at a table, across from a 1/4 full bottle of the wine left for him, a tiny bit spilled around the dark wineglass he carried earlier. The elf strode to the table, lifted the glass and had yet another sip, awaiting her to present his requested things.

Elise blushed upon entering, seeing the lovely elf in such a state of... confortable inebriation. He was stunning regardless, as all elves were wont to be, and she did not dally in presenting him with all that he had asked of her, the table soon filled with the various items.

She curtsied, a deep, low gesture held with perfect grace. "I hope this pleases you, good sir. I tool the liberty of gathering a few more items from the infirmery that might help you in your travels." The girl's amber eyes shone in the dim light, a few locks of green curls falling into her eyes from her subservient position.
