Elise and Katrienne are still where they were last post. Don't feel like re-writing that, lol.
Bianca looked a little mortified, which was odd, from someone in her position.
"You want me to... lie?" Her tones were dulcet and well-paced, but Meir could see in her eyes what she was honestly feeling. "Why would you want me to tell people things you didn't do... but paid for regardless...." She paused, milling something over in her mind. "I am not even supposed to speak upon the goings-on. Patron privacy is quite impotant here." She foldd her hands gently upon her lap, the issue clear-cut in her head, but she leaned a little on the simple, "a rule is a rule" side of life.
"Not Lie, just lead that we did more then we did. It really dosent matter. Now then, will you be willing to leave here with me when I do? I have need of a son, and you look like a good canadate for a mother."
Mier watched her face as she decided how to answear. If she wont lie, he thought, I can lie to her and make it think it's the truth. After all, 2 parts truth to one part lie is the perfect combnation. I do want a son, She looks like a good mother, I just dont want a son with her. Yet......
Bianca stood, a gentle grace in her movement. "Sir, what you are suggesting is lying either way. And what would press so great a need for a son that you would pick some random servant girl to bear you one?" Her bronze-painted lip pursed together, dark eyeborws furrowing over those dark eyes.
You are right, I wont ask you to lie. And you are not a random servant girl. You are the one I chose to bear my children. I do have need, which I wont disclose. Will you do so for me is what I am asking.
Bianca stammered. "We've yet to speak to the Mistress. It is to be my Lady's call."
Bianca was not suited for such confrontation, and she relied on the only surety she knew. The Lady would straighten this out. She had helped her before, she would help her now.
((Sorry about the lack-of-respondage, had quite a full weekend myself. Hardly spent any time at the computer :\ Happy Monday everyone! *pelts self with stones (not stoneskins[tm])* ))
The elf sat at the table, setting the goblet aside, and went through everything she brought back. The medicines he tucked in his kit and stashed in his bag. Each article of clothing he brought to his nose and smelled, revelling in their clean-ness. All this he did wordlessly. The maps were briefly studied, and then put into scroll cases, all folded neatly into the pack so that there appeared to be room to spare.
Emeralds finally turned to Elise, with a flash, before settling back into their gentle inebriation. "All looks well." He smirked a bit at himself, and then tipped his head to a side. "Very well done indeed! You have served and served well." He slapped his hands on the table and stood, moving to stand before her. He stretched his fingers, and then on one hand a blue coin started rolling down his knuckles. He did the same with his other hand, and another spark of blue followed his rippling fingers. Both were caught in one hand, and he took hers gingerly and placed them in her palm and folded her fingers over them, eyes settled upon hers.
